Product Introduction
Finger Joint Board (Tooth Joint Board)
Splicing method: The two ends of short wood pieces are cut into tenons with zigzag teeth, which interlock like crossed fingers to extend the length vertically; multiple finger-jointed strips are then bonded horizontally to form a full-size board.
Timber size: Raw materials are mostly short logs, offcuts and small-diameter timber, with high material utilization rate.
Structure: Plenty of vertical finger joints inside, assembled in layered bonding structure.
Advantages & disadvantages: High cost performance, resistant to severe deformation and cracking; numerous glue lines exist at finger joints, and its stability under large-area bearing pressure is inferior to edge-glued solid board.
Applications: Cabinets, furniture side panels, packaging materials, inner lining for formwork, and base layers for home decoration.
